Sara died from complications of Heartworm, a preventable disease

2003 to 2006

Speck was in foster care for over a year fighting a seizure disorder secondary to extensive heartworms. Ultimately, the seizures took his life. AHR will be eternally grateful to the Dea family for providing love, care and monetary support of all his medical expenses during this time.
